PHASED ARRAY – ADVANCING NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING IN LATIN AMERICA

Our rigorous inspection, load tests and procedures are designed to verify that the gangway is robust enough to handle the specified weights and capacities.
Tisa Lifeboat & NDT continues to lead the way in advanced inspection services, now with four certified engineers available 24/7 across Panama and Latin America to perform P h a s e d Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT).
This milestone follows an intensive week of training in Panama led by ASNT Level I expert, Gilberto Quintero Mantilla. The program covered the full range of Phased Array techniques, aligned with the requirements of major naval classification societies.
As the maritime industry increasingly relies on advanced inspections, Tisa is committed to staying ahead of the curve. Advanced NDT (ANDT) is the future of marine and offshore inspections-and we’re ready. Our team is preparing to implement cutting-edge FMC/TFM (Full Matrix Capture / Total Focusing Method) technologies, especially for the inspection of highly alloyed steels during repairs. These methods deliver superior image resolution and defect characterization, far beyond the capabilities of conventional ultrasonic testing.

At Tisa Lifeboat & NDT, innovation and continuous improvement are in our DNA. We are proud to be the 24/7 solution for a d v a n c e d non-destructive testing that the naval and offshore industries demand.
Our mission: To deliver precise, reliable, and advanced inspection solutions for marine construction and ship repair-raising the standard for safety, performance, and client satisfaction.
